Aleta Wondo woreda is located in the southern Sidama zone of Ethiopia. This washed process lot consists of landrace varieties grown at altitudes ranging from 1700-2500 meters. The land here is exposed to tremendous sunlight and heat during the day, while the temperature drops dramatically nightly. This concentrates chlorogenic acid development in the cherries and increases sugar content. The cup is delightfully fragrant with flavors like dark cherry, plum and floral black tea.
