This beautiful micro lot hails from the Jaen district of Cajamarca, Peru and is produced by Onias Guerrero on his farm, Finca el Toche. This coffee is part of an initiative to develop individual micro lots and improve farmer premiums. Distinct attributes are to be found in this delicious example of Bourbon and Caturra varieties including a complex acidity, refined sweetness and lasting body. On the palate we find ginger snap cookie, rich nougat and a lively raspberry like fruitiness that performs as filter or espresso.
