In the beautiful and remote municipality of Inza in the department of Cauca, Colombia there are small villages where farmers' coffee are grouped together by family or by village. This particular lot comes from members of the Oidor family in the San Rafael village, with Caturra, Pache, Castillo and Colombia varieties comprising the makeup of plants grown at 1,900 meters and up here. Coffees are manually pulped, fermented and dried on raised beds for quality and consistency. San Rafael brings a beautiful sweetness to the cup, accentuated by a juicy and tart acidity.
