Hacienda La Bastilla resides in the Jinotega department of Northeast Nicaragua. The estate oversees two fincas, Bastilla and Santa Luz, where many microclimates are utilized to cultivate specific varieties such as Caturra, Catuai, Parainema, Java,SL28 and Geisha. The farms are surround by a nature reserve, helping to create a rich biodynamic environment. This lot is washed and sun dried, comprised of coffees from 1,300-1,500 meters. WE find a cup with hallmark fudge tones, complimented by a complex acidity with flavors of stone fruit and citrus with a lovely floral aroma.
