Part of the Mixteca-Sierra Sur area of Oaxaca, the community of San Lucas Yosonicaje hopes to showcase the deep potential here with the quality of produce, especially coffee. With Bourbon and Typica dominating the plantings and altitudes ranging from 1,400-1,800 this lot is a stunning example of what type of coffee is achievable from Mexico. Rich, easy drinking, and subtle complexities keep the cups empty and the kettle working extra. Cherries are harvested when ripe, pulped, wet-fermented and dried on patio for 8-10 days.
